Meditation and The Money Attracting Challenge

Yesterday I wrote about my goal of meditating every hour for 5 minutes.  I was pretty successful.  I even managed to meditate on the tube. It's not actually that hard. Everyone's pretty much in their own head space on the tube. I just closed my eyes and tried to tune out. (I made sure I did it at the beginning of my journey so I wouldn't be worried about missing my stop)

I did it while walking.  Obviously eyes were open, but I concentrated on my breathing.  Trying to quiet my mind.

I managed to snag 5 minutes for every hour, up until about 7pm.

Boyfriend came home, dinner was served, TV came on.....I got distracted and it wasn't until 11pm that I remembered my goal.  Oh well, I took 5 minutes before going to bed.

I was a little annoyed with myself when I realized I missed 4 hours.  Not because I didn't necessarily accomplish my goal, but because I enjoy meditating.  I liked taking 5 minute breaks and tuning out.  It's revitalizing.  It puts me in a good mood.

But then I got over myself.  I also enjoy winding down at the end of the day with my boyfriend and a nice glass of wine.  That also puts me in a good mood.

It also put me in a good mood when our neighbour knocked on our door and handed us a bowl of tomatoes from their garden.  No reason, just that they had lots and thought we'd like some.  Thank you neighbour!  They are delicious!

Free stuff keeps coming to me.  Or has it always been coming to me, and I'm now just noticing it?  Hmmm...don't know really, but I'm glad that I'm noticing.  It gives my intentions more focus.  It inspires me to keep on this path.  It renews my faith.

That's it for today...tomorrow I'll continue my meditation in small chunks.
